What is Connect to Work?

Connect to Work is a free, voluntary programme funded by the UK Government, providing personalised employment support for people who face barriers to finding or staying in work.

Lincolnshire County Council was allocated £23.4 million from the UK Government, through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), to administer the Connect to Work programme across Greater Lincolnshire.

Connect to Work will support 6,000 people across Greater Lincolnshire to overcome long-term health conditions and disabilities and other complex barriers to employment through a partnership of

local delivery providers.

AutonoMe has been commissioned to deliver IPS SEQF / In-Work Retention support as part of the Greater Lincolnshire Connect to Work programme, helping eligible residents to access, sustain and progress in employment.

Whether you're living with a disability, managing a health condition, or dealing with other challenges, our team is here to help you build confidence, find suitable employment, and thrive in the workplace.

If you're already in work but struggling to remain in your role or progress in your career, Connect to Work offers tailored guidance to help you succeed and achieve your goals.

And if you live in North Lincolnshire, meet the eligibility criteria below and want to take part, signing up is easy. You just need to fill out a form called an "Expression of Interest."

Delivered as part of North Lincolnshire Connect to Work, our free employment service provides personalised human support combined with technology for people who are looking for work, as well as those already in employment who would benefit from additional support.

AutonoMe specialises in supporting neurodiverse people and people with learning disabilities through personalised employment support that is built around the individual.

As part of North Lincolnshire Connect to Work, we're delivering two specialist services across North Lincolnshire:

Support for people looking for work

If you're currently unemployed, we'll work alongside you to:

Identify your employment goals
Build confidence and skills
Find suitable job opportunities
Prepare for interviews
Access reasonable adjustments
Support you to maintain employment

Support for people already in work

If you're already employed but are struggling to maintain it, we can help you:

Stay in work
Build confidence in your role
Access workplace adjustments
Develop strategies to overcome challenges
Progress within your career

Eligibility Criteria

To take part, you must:

Live in North Lincolnshire

Be aged 18 or over

Have the right to work in the UK

Not registered on another employment programme (such as Workwell or Restart)

Be interested in working or already working but struggling

And fit into one of the following categories:

Disability or a long-term health condition
Offender or ex-offender
Carer
Homeless
Member or partner of a member of the Armed Forces
Person with a Substance or Alcohol Misuse Disorder
Care-experienced young person or a care leaver
Refugee, a resettled Afghan, or a person on the Ukrainian scheme
Survivor of domestic abuse
Young people involved or at risk of being involved in violence
Victim of modern slavery
